Quick note before the pitch. I build software for small online publishers — that's my actual day job. When I looked at what "AI activity book generators" were shipping this year, I noticed most of them were faking the part that actually matters: the puzzles themselves.

Mazes with no real solution. Word searches where half the words weren't findable. Sudoku grids with two answers, or none. Answer keys that were just placeholder text saying "answers available on request."

Buyers on Amazon notice within one page. Reviewers notice within one paragraph. And Amazon itself notices the moment it starts issuing refunds.

No income screenshots in this letter. No promises about what you'll earn — I don't know you, so I can't. What I can promise is what the software actually does: it generates real, procedurally-computed puzzles with real answer keys rendered from the same math as the puzzle. Twenty-one of them. Six audiences. Three difficulty levels that actually change the puzzle, not just a label glued on top. And an AI content layer that keeps every puzzle grounded in the topic you typed.

I answer every buyer support email personally. If PuzzlePress AI doesn't do what this page says it does, email me inside 7 days and I'll process the refund myself.

A puzzle anyone can fake is a puzzle no one can defend.

The real problem

It has a name: the AI-slop shelf.

Open Amazon and search any activity-book niche. Puzzle books. Kids workbooks. Adult brain games. You'll see the same pattern on every category — two hundred covers, one interior. Text placeholder answer keys. Word searches whose "hidden" words visibly clip the grid edges. Mazes whose solutions cross their own walls.

AI made the shelf worse, not better. Now the slop writes itself, Amazon is suspicious of the whole category, and buyers scroll past hundreds of listings looking for something that works when their kid opens page one.

The books that keep selling year after year on that shelf are the opposite of slop: books where the puzzles are real, the answer keys match, the difficulty ramps honestly, and the print quality holds up to a highlighter. Real puzzle engines — the kind Kappa Books and Puzzle Baron and Highlights have been shipping for decades.

You want to compete on that shelf. You don't want to hire the developers. That's the gap PuzzlePress AI closes.

The big idea in one picture

What if one idea could become an entire book?

That's the whole product. You bring the idea. The platform does every step between the idea and the print-ready PDF — content grounding, puzzle generation, layout, answer keys, cover, export.

Side by side

The old way vs. the PuzzlePress way

Publishing on the AI-slop shelf

  • Language-model text or reused clip-art puzzles
  • Same interior as thousands of competitors
  • Answer keys that are placeholder text
  • One wrong Sudoku answer = 1-star review
  • Six hours in Canva per book — and it still looks homemade
  • Compete on ad spend and hope

Publishing with PuzzlePress AI

  • Ten real procedural puzzle engines
  • Every book unique — topic + audience + difficulty combo
  • Visual answer keys computed from puzzle data
  • Every Sudoku uniqueness-verified, every maze solvable
  • Three minutes to a finished, print-ready PDF
  • Compete on catalog depth and speed

Walk the shelves yourself

Don't take my word for it. This shelf has been selling since the 1960s.

Before you believe one more sentence from a guy selling software, open Amazon yourself and type "sudoku book". Then "word search book". Then "kids activity book". Notice the one thing every long-term winner in that category has in common — the thing this whole letter hangs on:

Fig. 01 — Sudoku books have been printed for 40+ years
Sudoku books have been printed continuously for 40+ years. The Times crossword book has been a Christmas seller since the 1920s. Activity-book buyers are annual repeat buyers, and the shelf has been voting for that with dollars for six decades.
Fig. 02 — Puzzle-book bestseller lists barely change year over year
Puzzle-book best-seller lists barely change year over year. Kappa Books, Puzzle Baron, Highlights, Bathroom Reader — every one of them ships a real puzzle engine behind their books. That's the whole moat.
Fig. 03 — Kids activity book category adds new bestsellers every month
The "kids activity book" category adds new bestsellers every month. Every new-parent cohort re-buys. Every new grade year re-buys. Every seasonal window re-buys. Perennial demand, non-technical buyer, forgiving price point.
Fig. 04 — Adult brain games is widely cited as one of the fastest-growing sub-shelves on KDP
The "adult brain games" category is widely cited as one of the fastest-growing adult sub-shelves on KDP. The 40+ demographic keeps buying, they leave reviews, and they don't return the book because they didn't like the algorithm — they return it because the answer key was wrong.

Now notice what every single one of those winners has in common: every one of them ships a real puzzle engine. Not a language model pretending to be one. Not a clip-art bundle. A real, deterministic, mathematically-verifiable engine that produces a real answer key from the same data as the puzzle.

That's the shelf every AI tool this year tried to attack — and failed at, because they never had real engines. That's the shelf PuzzlePress AI was built for. Directly.

Introducing

PuzzlePress AI — the puzzle-book engine.

Type a topic. Pick an audience. Pick a length. Pick a difficulty. Press Generate. Download a print-ready PDF your competitors physically can't spin up in Canva.

21 real activity engines. Six audiences from Ages 3-5 through Adults 40+. Three difficulty levels that actually flow into generation. Thirty procedural cover styles. A visual answer key on every puzzle. A book planner that lays out the structure before generation begins. And a preview mode so you see the entire book before you export.

The core 10 engines (Maze, Word Search, Matching, Counting, Trivia, Anagram, Cryptogram, Sudoku, Nonogram, Logic Grid) plus 11 new procedural engines across Pattern, Grid, Numeric and Tracing families.

The workflow

Five steps, even if you've never published a book.

Step 1 — Type your topic
Step 1 · Type a topic. "Turtles." "Dinosaurs." "1970s roller-disco music." "The Sun." Whatever your niche is. PuzzlePress AI plans the entire book around it — page order, activity mix, difficulty ramp, thematic titling, cover treatment.
Step 2 — Pick length and difficulty
Step 2 · Pick length and difficulty. Book length from 20 to 100+ pages. Easy / Medium / Hard — and difficulty actually changes the puzzles. A "hard" Sudoku is really harder, not a mislabelled medium.
Step 3 — Pick your audience
Step 3 · Pick your audience. Six age groups from Ages 3-5 through Adults 40+. Content, difficulty ramp and cover palette all adapt automatically to the audience you pick. One topic string becomes six different books.
Step 4 — Preview the book before you export
Step 4 · Preview the entire book. Every page, every puzzle, every visual answer key — before you export. Nothing is a surprise on upload. If a page doesn't fit your niche, regenerate that page alone; the rest of the book stays intact.
Step 5 — Click Generate and download the print-ready PDF
Step 5 · Click Generate. Download the PDF. Cover, puzzle pages, instructions, page numbers, visual answer keys, layout, margins — one print-ready PDF, ready to upload to KDP or list on Etsy. Usually done before your coffee cools.

Nothing to design, nothing to write, no prompts, no API keys. A KDP account is free and takes about ten minutes to set up.

What's inside — a partial list

What you can do the day you get access

  1. The two-word trick most new publishers miss on the cover — the one that makes activity-book buyers pick your book off a search page with 200 competitors on it (Playbook, page 4).
  2. The audience/difficulty combo a lot of top adult-shelf publishers focus on — because everyone's fighting for the kid shelf and the 40+ one is less crowded (100 Niches, adult tab).
  3. Why a book about one specific topic ("The Sun", "Turtles", "1970s rock") tends to stand out on browse pages more than a generic "Puzzle Book Volume 3" — and how to pick your first three topics off the included niche list.
  4. The answer-key mistake that trips a very large share of new activity-book publishers on Amazon — and the reason PuzzlePress renders every answer key directly from the puzzle's own data, so it can never be off by one.
  5. The one puzzle type most publishers skip — and why it has the highest revisit rate of any activity in the category, quietly turning single-book buyers into series buyers.
  6. How one topic becomes six books — one per age group, six separate KDP listings, six separate products from the same topic string.
  7. The Nonogram trick that makes buyers photograph pages and post them — free organic reach, engine-baked, no marketing spend.
  8. The exact 30-day publishing cadence that grows a catalog from zero to a real backlist — laid out day by day in the Publishing Planner bonus.
  9. The pre-upload checklist that catches every reason Amazon rejects an activity book — page count, margins, answer key, audience mismatch — before you upload, not after (Quality Checklist bonus).
  10. Why none of this trips an "AI content" filter — the puzzles are procedurally computed, not language-model generated. As of this writing, Amazon's content policy treats computed puzzle data (crosswords, Sudoku, word searches) differently from AI-generated prose. KDP policy is set and enforced by Amazon alone and can change at any time.

The whole activity-book shelf, in one engine

22 procedural engines. One pipeline. One print-ready PDF.

The hard part was never any single puzzle. It was building 22 different procedural engines that produce real, solvable, uniqueness-verified puzzles with matching answer keys — and wiring them into a single book pipeline that outputs one print-ready PDF. Once that was built, every activity-book shelf opened up.

Visual previews below communicate each engine category. Actual print-ready exports are clean black-ink line art on white paper, sized for KDP out of the box.

22 engines. One pipeline. One print-ready PDF.
That's the moat every "AI book maker" this year tried to attack — and failed, because they never had real engines.

The brain of the engine

The AI content layer is what makes topics work.

🧠 Topic-grounded, not topic-labeled.

Most "AI book makers" generate the same filler puzzles whatever topic you type — only the title changes. PuzzlePress AI is structurally different: your topic drives a dedicated content layer that produces vocabulary, facts, questions, and relationships specific to that topic, before any puzzle is generated. Then the puzzle engines pull from that pack.

Example: you type whales.

whales→BLOWHOLE, MIGRATION, BALEEN, HUMPBACK, KRILL…
"Which whale has the longest migration?"
BLUE WHALE ↔ LARGEST ANIMAL, HUMPBACK ↔ SONG →Word Search, Trivia, Matching, Anagram — all about whales

Not "cat / dog / ball" with the title "Whales" on the cover. Actual whale vocabulary. Actual whale facts. Actual whale relationships. The same mechanism works for Mindfulness, Ancient Egypt, 1970s Rock, Backyard Birds — any topic you can name.

The AI content layer has an "expansion" pass built in for longer books, so a 100-page book doesn't repeat the same 10 words — it keeps generating fresh relevant content until the page count is satisfied.

Who it's for

Built for every audience, not just kids.

Six audience presets drive content, difficulty, cover palette, and typography. Same workflow, six very different output profiles — and the market segments map one-to-one.

👶 Children (3-12)

  • Preschool activity packs
  • Early-reader workbooks
  • Middle-grade puzzle books
  • Homeschool / classroom

🧑‍🎓 Teens (13-17)

  • Study-break puzzle books
  • Logic + math brain-trainers
  • Themed trivia (fandom, music)
  • Classroom supplements

🧑 Adults (18-40)

  • Mindfulness & relaxation books
  • Travel & roadtrip puzzle packs
  • Hobby-niche puzzle books
  • Gift / seasonal / event

👵 Adults 40+ (large print)

  • Senior brain-training books
  • Large-print Sudoku / Word Search
  • Memory-care activity books
  • Care-facility bulk orders

One topic isn't one book. It's six.

This is the part most people miss on their first read. "The Sun" is a puzzle book for Ages 3-5, a different puzzle book for Ages 6-8, a different one for 9-12, a different one for Teens, a different one for Adults 18-40, and a different one for Adults 40+. Six audiences. Six separate KDP listings. Six different products — from one topic string you typed once.

Difficulty multiplies it again. The same "1970s rock trivia" is an Easy book and a Hard book, and they're two separate products for two different buyers.

This is NOT another AI book tool

No AI-written stories. No "10,000 prompts." Real computed puzzles.

Every puzzle in every book is generated by a real procedural engine, not a language model. Every answer key is computed from the same canonical data as the puzzle. Every difficulty setting actually changes the generation.

That's the part every other "AI activity book generator" is faking. That's the part PuzzlePress AI built for real.

Honest fit check

Is PuzzlePress AI for you?

Yes — if:

  • You already publish (or actually plan to start) on KDP or Etsy
  • You think in catalogs and seasons, not one lottery-ticket book
  • You want the whole upload ready in one download, not five tools
  • You like owning an asset others can't reproduce in Canva
  • You want a workflow you can repeat, not a one-time art project

No — if:

  • You want income without publishing work — this is a tool, not a paycheck
  • You won't read KDP's content guidelines
  • You need desktop software — PuzzlePress AI is a web app
  • You expect every book to sell — long-tail means volume and patience
  • You want pixel-level control over every kerning pair — this is a generator, not Adobe InDesign

Before you ask

Questions buyers actually ask

Is this just for kids books, or does it really work for adults?

It works for every audience the engine supports — Ages 3-5 through Adults 40+ as a dedicated large-print tier. The six audience presets drive content, difficulty, cover palette and typography independently. Adult mindfulness books, large-print Sudoku, 40+ brain-training, teen trivia, senior memory activities all come out of the same workflow. The "kids activity book" shelf is one segment, not the product's scope.

I've never published on KDP. Is this too advanced for me?

No — a first-time publisher is the easiest case, because there's nothing to unlearn. You type a topic, pick an audience, download the PDF, and follow the included Playbook step by step. A KDP account is free and takes about ten minutes to open.

What languages can I publish in?

Six: English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese. Pick the language on the topic step; the entire book comes out in that language — cover title and subtitle, every activity header (Cerca Parole / Sopa de Letras / Mots Mêlés / Wörtersuche / Caça-Palavras), every student instruction, and all generated content (words, facts, trivia, matching pairs). Written natively, not auto-translated. One license publishes to amazon.com, amazon.it, amazon.es, amazon.fr, amazon.de, and amazon.com.br — same workflow, six international KDP marketplaces.

How long from purchase to my first book actually being live on Amazon?

Generation itself is a few minutes. Uploading to KDP takes most people ten to twenty minutes the first time, faster after that. Realistically: your first book is uploaded and in KDP's review queue the same day you buy.

Do I need a computer, or can I use a phone?

PuzzlePress AI is a web app and runs anywhere a modern browser runs. Uploading to KDP is far easier on a computer — you'll be picking a PDF file and typing a title. Any laptop or desktop from the last decade works.

Is this a subscription?

No. $17 once for the front-end product. Optional module upgrades exist after purchase — every one of them is clearly optional, and none of them recur.

Do I need an OpenAI / Anthropic / any AI subscription?

No. PuzzlePress AI uses its own procedural puzzle engines. There's no third-party AI key to plug in. Buy once, generate books.

Can I sell the books commercially?

Yes. Every PDF you generate carries full commercial-use rights. Upload to KDP, list on Etsy or TPT, sell on your own site, license to a business — however you want to distribute your own catalog.

Will Amazon flag this as AI content?

As of this writing, Amazon's content policy classifies puzzle books, tide tables, crossword grids and similar computed-data content differently from AI-generated prose. PuzzlePress AI interiors are procedurally-computed puzzles with real answer keys — the same class of content Kappa Books and Puzzle Baron ship. KDP policy is set and enforced by Amazon alone and can change at any time; always verify current KDP guidelines before publishing.

What if I already have a cover?

Upload it. The pipeline recognises a finished cover and uses it directly. If you don't have one, pick from the thirty procedural cover variants — matched to the audience you picked.

What skills do I need?

If you can type a topic and upload a PDF to KDP, you have the full skill set. No formulas, no design tools, no prompts, no engineering.

What's the refund policy?

Purchases are processed through the WarriorPlus marketplace and are subject to a 7-day refund window from the date of purchase per the refund policy stated on this offer. If PuzzlePress AI honestly doesn't do what this page says it does — email support inside 7 days and we'll process the refund request. After 7 days the software is yours to keep and use commercially without further obligation on either side.

How does support work?

I (Kylie) answer every buyer email personally — usually within 24 hours on business days. Not a ticket queue, not a VA. Direct inbox access from your account page after purchase, or reach me now at kyliec2408@gmail.com / Facebook Messenger.

One more time

Two minutes from now, a book could be yours.

Every day you wait, someone else types their topic into a real puzzle engine and uploads a book to the shelf you were going to publish on. The good niches — the 40+ Sudoku, the seasonal Halloween word searches, the niche-specific trivia books — are being claimed weekly. Not by AI-slop publishers. By publishers with real engines.

PuzzlePress AI — from ideas to published activity books

P.S. Two things move while you think about it. The launch-week price goes up when the launch closes. And every day, more of the obvious niches on the included 100-niche list get picked up by publishers who bought yesterday. If you've been telling yourself "someday I'll publish" for three years, this is the round where someday becomes this afternoon.

P.P.S. Type your favourite topic into the box after you log in. If it's a topic your audience actually wants, that's today's book. If it isn't, pick from the included 100 Profitable Niches spreadsheet — the whole point of that bonus is to hand you the topic string you don't have to invent.
